AI powered business video startup Clueso has raised $10 Mn in a Series A funding round led by Dharana Capital, taking its total funding to $12 Mn. Round also included new investors Founders Future and Neotribe Ventures, alongside existing backers Y Combinator and f7 Ventures.

According to The Economic Times, more than 80% of the fresh capital came from existing investors, signalling continued investor support for the company's approach to automating business video production.

  • What Does Clueso Do?

Founded in 2023 by Akash Anand, Prajwal Prakash and Neel Balar, Clueso develops AI-powered software that turns screen recordings and product workflows into instructional videos and written documentation.

Its platform is designed for businesses that need to create product tutorials, customer onboarding materials, employee training videos and sales enablement content. The company is backed by Y Combinator and operates across Bengaluru and San Francisco.

Clueso is expanding beyond video editing towards automating more of the production process, including content creation, editing and updates when products or business processes change.

  • How Will Clueso Use the Funding?

The startup plans to expand its enterprise go-to-market operations, strengthen its AI agents, improve video editing capabilities and deepen integrations with business systems.

The investment will support its effort to serve teams across marketing, customer success, training, sales and internal communications.

Clueso's platform also aims to help businesses maintain existing video libraries as software interfaces, product features and brand guidelines evolve.

  • Why This Funding Matters

For enterprise software companies, producing instructional content is only part of the challenge. Keeping tutorials accurate as products change can require repeated recording, editing, narration and documentation work.

Clueso is targeting this recurring workload rather than simply offering another tool for generating videos. If its technology can reliably update content while preserving accuracy and brand consistency, it could help businesses reduce the operational burden of maintaining large libraries of instructional material.

The investment also reflects investor interest in AI applications that automate specific enterprise workflows. Such products must demonstrate measurable business value, including lower production costs, faster content updates and sustained adoption across teams.

However, funding alone does not establish that these outcomes have been achieved consistently across customers.

  • What Lies Ahead for Clueso?

Clueso's next phase will depend on converting its funding and product development into deeper enterprise adoption. Its ability to integrate with existing business systems and keep content current could be important differentiators as AI video tools become more widely available.

For investors, the central question is whether Clueso can establish a durable position in enterprise content operations rather than compete solely on video generation features.

The $10 million Series A gives the company additional capital to pursue that opportunity. Its long-term progress will depend on product reliability, customer retention and the measurable value it delivers to businesses.
