The company plans to use the funds to support business growth and meet its general corporate requirements.
Gramiyaa’s Journey in the Cold-Pressed Oil Market
Founded in 2016 by Sibi Manivannan, Gramiyaa focuses on making cold-pressed oils using traditional oil-making methods. The company manufactures its products in-house and offers a range of everyday cooking oils.
Its product portfolio includes groundnut, coconut, sesame and mustard oils, along with virgin coconut oil and olive oil. By combining traditional oil-making practices with online sales, Gramiyaa aims to make its products accessible to more consumers.
The brand follows a direct-to-consumer (D2C) business model and sells through its official website and several online shopping and quick-commerce platforms. These include Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, BigBasket, DMart Ready and FirstClub.
Who Owns Gramiyaa After the Series A Round?
Following the latest share allotment, Homegrown Ventures remains Gramiyaa’s largest external shareholder, holding a 17.34% stake. Campus Fund owns 9.86%, while new investor Optiscape Network Holdings holds an 8.28% stake.
The company’s co-founders also continue to hold significant ownership. Sibi Manivannan holds a 26.04% stake, while Mohamed Yaseen and Naveenrajaman RL each own 13.02%.
The latest investment gives Gramiyaa additional capital as it looks to grow its presence in the cold-pressed oil market and reach more customers across India.
Gramiyaa’s Revenue Grows 72.7% in FY25
Gramiyaa reported strong revenue growth in FY25. The company’s revenue increased 72.7% year-on-year to Rs 19 crore, showing a rise in sales during the financial year.
However, the company also saw a sharp increase in losses. Its losses rose nearly 12.7 times to Rs 4 crore in FY25. Gramiyaa has not yet filed its financial results for FY26.
