Setting up a home can be challenging when customers have to choose furniture, match products, manage budgets and coordinate deliveries from different sellers. While social media and design platforms offer plenty of inspiration, turning those ideas into a complete home often takes time and effort.
wudhomes aims to make this process easier by bringing product discovery, personalised recommendations, space visualisation, physical retail and delivery services together under one business model.
The startup also offers home visits, where its consultants assess customers' spaces and suggest suitable furnishing options. In recent months, the company has furnished more than 200 homes, connecting online discovery with practical, in-person support.
- Fresh Funds to Support Technology and Expansion
The new funding will help wudhomes build a more integrated home-furnishing business. Its plans include strengthening supply-chain operations, investing in technology and improving the overall shopping experience.
Founder Vasu Arneja believes the home-furnishing market has room for a larger, more connected business model that brings design inspiration, technology, retail and fulfilment together.
AJVC founder Aviral Bhatnagar also sees potential in the startup's approach, which focuses on helping customers move from design ideas to fully furnished living spaces.
Founder Aditya Singh highlighted the gap between imagining a dream home and making it a reality. The company aims to bridge that gap by helping customers select products that suit their spaces and arranging their delivery.
- What Lies Ahead for wudhomes?
wudhomes plans to expand its offerings beyond furniture over time. By combining digital tools, personalised assistance and supply-chain management, the startup aims to make home furnishing more convenient for Indian consumers.
The company has not disclosed its valuation, revenue figures or expansion timeline.
