InCred Capital has appointed Abhinav Khanna as Chief Executive Officer of Capital Markets and Abhimanyu Kalra as Managing Director and Co-Head of Equities. The appointments are part of the company’s plan to grow its institutional equities business in India and expand its presence in international markets.

The appointments were confirmed to Moneycontrol as the company looks to build a stronger position in India’s growing equity markets.

InCred Capital is part of the InCred Group, founded by Bhupinder Singh, who also serves as its Group CEO. The company aims to significantly increase its share of India’s institutional equities market over the next five years.

  • Experienced Leaders to Drive Growth

Abhinav Khanna brings more than 25 years of experience across India, the UK and West Asia. Before joining InCred Capital, he was Managing Director and Chief Business Officer for Global Equities at ValueQuest Investment Advisors. Earlier, he spent over a decade at Citigroup Global Markets as Managing Director and Head of Equities for India.

Abhimanyu Kalra has more than 23 years of experience in equity markets, including 18 years at Nomura. During his career, he has worked closely with domestic and international asset managers.

The company believes their experience will help strengthen research, trading, execution and relationships with institutional investors.

  • InCred Capital Expands into the US

InCred Capital has also launched its business in the United States, appointing Arunava Das as CEO of its US business.

Das joins from JM Financial, where he led the North America business. He has also held senior positions at JPMorgan Chase and Edelweiss Capital.

The company plans to expand its services across cash equities, derivatives and asset services for institutional investors. Its clients include mutual funds, insurance companies, pension funds, foreign portfolio investors, global long-only investors and hedge funds.

  • Focus on Technology and Institutional Investors

India’s primary capital markets are seeing increased activity, with a strong pipeline of IPOs, block trades and equity fundraising. InCred Capital is investing in technology and trading infrastructure to support its next phase of growth.

The company is strengthening key areas such as order management, research distribution, institutional sales and trading, block execution and algorithmic trading.

Abhinav Khanna said the business would focus on high-quality research, client service, efficient execution and stronger relationships with institutional investors in India and overseas.

As India’s equity markets continue to grow and domestic institutional investment increases, InCred Capital aims to become a preferred partner for major investors in India and across global markets.
