Wealth management startup Zomint has raised Rs 36 crore ($3.75 million) in its seed funding round from Lightspeed and Prime Venture Partners as it looks to expand its wealth management business and build a stronger technology platform.
The fresh capital will be used to grow Zomint’s wealth and investment teams, improve its technology and build an investor education ecosystem for its customers.
Founded by Aman Mittal and Shavir Bansal
Founded in September 2025 by Aman Mittal and Shavir Bansal, Zomint provides wealth management services for working professionals and families.
The platform allows investors to start with a monthly SIP of Rs 25,000 or a lump sum investment of Rs 5 lakh.
Zomint assigns each family a personal wealth expert who helps track investments, financial goals and overall portfolio progress.
Combining Human Advice With AI
The wealth experts at Zomint are supported by investment research and AI-based tools.
The platform brings together information about a customer's portfolio, previous conversations and investment research in one place. Its tools can also flag areas that may need attention and track actions agreed between the client and wealth expert.
This model aims to combine personal financial guidance with technology, helping wealth managers handle more families while keeping the advice personalised.
97% Client Retention Since Launch
Zomint claims it has retained 97% of its clients since launching, even during periods of market volatility.
The company also said that nearly one in three clients made additional investments through the platform within three months of their first engagement.
Its relationship managers currently serve more than 250 families each, with support from investment specialists and AI-enabled tools.
Growing Through Organic Content
One of Zomint’s key customer acquisition strategies has been content rather than traditional advertising.
The company has acquired its customers entirely through organic content published through the founders’ financial content platform Bekifaayati, which has more than 50 lakh subscribers.
This gives Zomint access to a large audience of people already interested in personal finance, investments and wealth creation.
Building a Tech-Led Wealth Platform
With the latest ₹36 crore funding, Zomint plans to invest further in its technology, expand its investment and wealth teams and create more educational content for investors.
The startup is looking to build a wealth management model where experienced professionals, investment research and AI tools work together to help families manage their money and make better-informed investment decisions.
As more young professionals and families look for personalised wealth management beyond traditional banking and financial products, Zomint is aiming to build a technology-led platform around this growing demand.
